Adria Arjona Swears By Using Hairspray on Her Brows

Five minutes in on a call with Adria Arjona, and it’s clear she’s a free spirit. We talk about how she believes everything happens for a reason and how, whether it’s good and bad, those experiences shape who you are as person. It’s no wonder then that Armani Beauty tapped the actor—who you probably recognize as Jules from Pacific Rim: Uprising and Emily from the second season of True Detective—as the face of its new fragrance, My Way.

The ethos behind the perfume and its new campaign is “I am what I live,” a call to soak up the best of what life has to offer—and a mantra that undoubtedly carries new weight as our lives continue to shift with the ongoing precautions surrounding COVID-19.

In fact, that message is what drew the rising star to the campaign in the first place. “It resonates a lot with me,” says Arjona. “I love the idea of opening your horizons and paving your own journey. No path is the same.”

I’ll admit, it all sounded a bit woo-woo, but one spritz of this scent and I got it. Its bright, flowery mix of vanilla and tuberose is happy, inviting, and vivacious—everything Arjona represents. But here I’ll let her tell you more. Ahead, she answers all of Glamour’s Big Beauty Questions, including her beauty must-haves, the women inspiring her right now, and the hair advice she swears by.

What’s one beauty rule you swear by?
Moisturize! You can never moisturize enough. I love the Armani Crema Nera Extrema Supreme Reviving Light Cream. It’s pretty dry here in L.A. and I’ve been in the sun a lot. I feel like that’s the one product my skin just soaks right in. I use it both during the day and at night.

How has your upbringing inspired your beauty routine?
All my travels inspire me, but the natural colors and textiles that are used in Mexico and Guatemala specifically are so bright and so beautiful. They use the most beautiful natural reds. I think one of my favorite looks is a bare face and red lip, especially for summer—a nice bright red or orange.

Armani Beauty’s “My Way” Perfume Now Available Online

August 10, 2020   No Comment   Adria Arjona, My Way Fragrance

Today is the official launch for Giorgio Armani’s newest perfume for women, My Way. Read below for the official description of the perfume and head exclusively to ArmaniBeauty.com to purchase a bottle before they arrive in stores on August 25th!

My Way Eau de Parfum is the scent of discoveries and connections for an openminded, curious and authentic woman who is ready to broaden her horizons and live meaningful encounters around the world.

This floral fragrance for her is an encounter of consciously sourced ingredients. Bergamot meets orange blossom from Egypt in a luminous, sparkling start. An amplified bright floral bouquet of tuberose and jasmine from India is the beating heart of this fascinating scent. Finally, a vibrant cedarwood from Virginia meets a sensual vanilla from Madagascar and comforting white musks to sign the composition.

The blue and gold cap is a metaphor of the world. The blue is the universal color that unites all of us. It is englobed by a golden ring, stamped with the Giorgio Armani signature, a symbol of a unique path that is illuminated by every encounter along the way. This luxurious fragrance is refillable.

The ‘6 Underground’ actor will star opposite Diego Luna in the ‘Star Wars’ spinoff.
Adria Arjona is headed to the Star Wars Galaxy and will star in Disney+’s upcoming Rogue One prequel, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Arjona, known for Netflix’s 6 Underground and who has an upcoming role in Jared Leto’s comic book movie Morbius, will star opposite Rogue One’s Diego Luna and Alan Tudyk. Filmmaker Tony Gilroy, who oversaw reshoots for the 2016 film, is attached to write and do directing work on the series, which has The Americans’ Stephen Schiff set as showrunner.

The untitled Cassian Andor series is one of several live-action TV projects Lucasfilm has for Disney+, including Jon Favreau’s The Mandalorian, which launches season two in October, as well as an Obi-Wan Kenobi series starring Ewan McGregor.

Rogue One earned more than $1 billion at the box office and is considered a high water mark among the Disney era of Star Wars films so far.

Arjona, whose credits also include Pacific Rim: Uprising, is repped by CAA.
